LA is growing on me.... the CITY!! not the dawyers. So much to see and so much exploration. It actually wouldn't be a bad idea to live their if I end up going to USC for grad school. With so much free time now I figure I will be exploring much more. Till then....Gnite

For every seed must die before it grows Pt. 2

As the end of christmas night draws near and as I sip on the last beer with this last fucking tamale, I'm left here reflecting about this christmas and this year in general. I have finally been able to let go of the past, live in the moment and look toward the future. I feel new, excited, and as if a fucking ton has been lifted off me. The seed that died this time was my past, the negative part of my past. The part that didn't allow me to respond well to others and most importantly I believe i can love again and it is a great feeling because sometimes there's no greater feeling. It is gone and now I'm growing better than ever. It was great spending quality time with my family over christmas and it gave me a better idea of how close we really are. Cheers to memories and to all of you that gave me strength. Bottom line is, I'm back and ready to take advantage of all the opportunities full fledged. It's a great feeling again to say I love my life and the people in it.

See you on the flip side. ;)

The Bittersweet End of an Era.

So I finally reached the pinnacle of my undergraduate career but the feeling is strange. It was hard to believe that I already missed school after my last final on Thursday. I know that must sound stoopid to a lot of people because they hate school and thats fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but im the type of person who is driven by progression and the will to expand my perspectives. I just don't really know how to describe it, it was one of strangest feelings after that last final. It's like fuck yeah Im done with school, but then Im thinking now what? I thought for sure I would be extremely happy to leave and get on with it but im not. It might be because I sometimes I feel like i'm the only one into school, but Im starting to realize the most exciting and fulfilling part was the process.
The last six years in college have been some of the best of times and some of the worst of times, but nevertheless school always got me through it. So i look back now and remember all the best times and forget about the worst. This semester was by far the most memorable. It was tough juggling 15 units, keeping my friends and family close and staying committed to work and my internship. Well....

It's the End of an Era.

Cheers to new beginnings.

Toodles.

Stay up.

Charlie

One of these days I will take you home. Till then stay up pup.

Pugs. They are some of the friendliest dogs i've had experience with. My friend Bambi has a fawn pug named Ramsey. From my experience, he just goes about his business and provides great companionship and never, and I mean NEVER runs away.

See you someday soon.

So strange I remember you

“In your life, you meet people. Some you never think about again. Some, you wonder what happened to them. There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you. And then there are some you wish you never had to think about again. But you do.”

Nostalgia sucks real bad sometimes.

It's bitter sweet but it helps you appreciate your past and and work toward your future.

It's that time in between than blows...."It's Linus when his blanket is in the dryer, There's nothing to hold onto."

In the meantime....

Thank GAD for friends....

Rounding Third....

Right about now, I am 6 or so weeks away from graduating college. I am finally on the home stretch and home plate has never smelled so fresh. I can see the "light at the end of the tunnel" now, and its getting brighter and brighter. I must still remember to remain focus but still have fun. It feels like a foot race to the end of the semester and I am doing quite well. Thanks to everyone who has supported my educational dreams.

see you at the finish line.

This is Halloween....

It's safe to say that Halloween is officially the last holiday I still get amped up for. Sure Christmas & Thanksgiving bring family and friends closer, yet there's something unique about Halloween. While watching Nightmare before Christmas on Friday morning, I started getting that feeling again. That "amped" feeling. From carving pumpkins to watching spooky movies, Halloween brings out the kids in all of us. I believe it's the excitement of dressing up and being whomever you wish to be! This year I was lucky enough to be Manny Ramirez & Spiderman on consecutive weekend rendezvous. It was really great to see my friends not be lame and instead dress up and put forth real effort to get into the spirit. As an added bonus, the past two weeks couldn't have come at a better time. A great way to escape school and give my mind a break. Kudos to all you friends for another great year....
